PAR Connector for SalesForce CRM
Swedish data giant, PAR, has taken its first step into cloud computing with the launch of a plug-in to integrate with the market-leading Salesforce CRM. PAR Connector for Salesforce creates a seamless link between Salesforce CRM and PAR’s EuroContactPool, a comprehensive European business-to-business database, containing 22 million businesses.
By allowing users to quickly verify and enhance business data and find prospective customers, it enables the achievement of high levels of data accuracy for customer management and sales operations. The user can access EuroContactPool through their Salesforce CRM menus.
“PAR Connector for Salesforce answers a real need. Our research shows that it takes a sales person 15 minutes to find out the right things about a customer. This can now be done automatically at less than a tenth of the cost,” said Johan Lindqvist, International Business Manager at PAR.
PAR Connector allows users to search, download and update their CRM database with the latest information about companies and contacts in a simple way. Data records can be accessed on an individual basis or by importing several branches or departments under the same company name. Users can also search the database to find similar organisations to their existing best clients.
As company records are downloaded, they can be automatically included in PAR’s monitoring service, which allows for continuous updates. This includes the removal of inactive companies, saving time and money spent following up fruitless leads, as part of the PAR Data Quality concept.
The Scandinavian data solutions specialist, Climber, has already integrated PAR Connector with its Salesforce CRM. Senior Consultant Peter Edling says: “PAR Connector has instilled trust and credibility in our CRM. Now, if it’s not in Salesforce, it hasn’t happened! Marketing and Sales now work with it extensively. New projects are fully managed within Salesforce and our expansion into new subsidiaries in Europe is a natural process.”
To deliver the solution, PAR has worked with Saaspoint, one of the largest cloud consulting and development companies in the world.
PAR Connector for Salesforce is the latest CRM integration developed by PAR and represents its first collaboration with Saaspoint. PAR has already developed highly successful integrations for Microsoft Dynamics and SuperOffice CRMs.
“At PAR we recognise that cloud-based technologies have impacted on enterprise computing and will do so increasingly as mobile platforms develop and traditionally office-based operations are moved to the cloud,” said Lindqvist.
