PAR first with quality assurance of Scandinavian customer registers

Quality assurance of a customer database means that clients always have correct, complete and duplicate-free information about all of their customers. PAR has successfully offered this on the Swedish market for some time and is now introducing the concept for the Danish, Norwegian and Finnish markets.

PAR now offers information from 13 different European databases and because of this it will be possible for us to develop systems to be able to match and identify customer registers in Europe as well.

“If you have a joint database with customers for Scandinavia, it will be easy to make selections in the customer database on the basis of joint NACE codes and size classes. To start with, we are introducing the quality assurance concept for Scandinavian customer databases and we will then roll out the concept all over Europe,” explains Hélène Dahlgren, Product Manager for CRM & Database Services at PAR.

Correct and complete – updating and supplementing your customer register

After cleaning/matching the data in the database/the address register, PAR delivers a file that contains up-to-date and correct information about all customer companies that can be updated and supplemented in the client’s register. Delivery includes a list of duplicates, i.e. companies and/or contacts that have been entered more than once. In addition, information is supplied about companies that have gone into liquidation and companies that are inactive or dormant, as well as which address entries cannot be identified and perhaps should be removed.

The information in the client’s database eventually maintains the same high quality as PAR’s Nordic databases in PAR’s pan-European database EuroContactPool.

Ongoing updating and monitoring

In order to ensure that our clients always have correct information about their Scandinavian customers, the customer database needs constant maintenance. Companies change address, telephone numbers, websites, contact details and employ new decision-makers. “PAR gathers this information on behalf of our clients and sends them updates as often as the client wants. Everything is done to ensure our clients always have access to correct information,” continues Hélène Dahlgren.

Duplicate-free prospects - twins

After quality assurance, it is a good idea to produce duplicate-free prospects, i.e. contact details for companies or decision-makers that are not entered in the client’s register but which have a profile similar to the client’s existing customers. This not only makes it simple to distinguish between customers and prospects when the client sends out material. The client also saves money and avoids embarrassing mistakes, such as sending the same material twice to the same customer.

Find new prospects

“When your customer database is updated continuously through our updating routine, you can enter correct information about potential customers yourself with the help of our web-based tool, One-by-One.

This allows you to search for companies and decision-makers from PAR’s databases in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland and download them directly into your CRM system,” continues Hélène Dahlgren.

“You have a lot to gain by having correct, complete and duplicate-free information about your customers in your CRM system, not just in terms of money and time: who doesn’t prefer keeping things in order?” Hélène Dahlgren concludes.
